Texas Gardener Magazine– Written for and by Texans who understand our climate, soils and weather. This is an invaluable resource for anyone gardening in Texas.

Homegrown Texas– Judy Barrett is all about organics and growing in Texas. Judy’s books are so helpful. Be sure to take a look at her selection.

Aggie Horticulture– On this website, there is a wealth of growing information from fruits to vegetables; from perennials to trees. Keep this site bookmarked, you’ll be glad you did!

Texas Master Gardeners– The Master Gardener programs throughout the state teach folks about gardening with a community outlook. Each Master Gardener is responsible for so many hours of community involvement to keep their certification.

Plant Healer Magazine– If you’re interested in healing with herbs, this publication is perfect. The spirit and joy of herbs is present in the pages of the magazine.

Erowid– “Documenting the complex relationships between humans and psychoactives.” If you’re interested in the psychoactive aspect of herbs, this website is for you. Lots of information on many, many herbs.

Mrs. Grieve’s Modern Herbal (1931)- a great resource for information on many, many herbs. Not new, certainly, but still useful and fun to read through.
