Hardiness Zones give us vital information about where plants will survive. Plant viability is not an exact science due to individual micro climates in our landscapes and the changing climate everywhere. The new USDA Hardiness Zone Map, published for 2023, has some changes from the previous one. The map is reconfigured every 10 years.
