While many of our beautiful Spring plants may be starting to fade with the Summer heat, succulents turn out to be the stars of summer.

Herbs Help You Stay Cool in the Summer
Herbs have many useful properties, not the least of which is that some can be used to help cool us down. These herbs act as a diaphoretic which opens the pores and allows heat to escape from the body.
Probably the most common of these herbs is Spearmint- found in lots of herb gardens and easy to grow.
